Finnabair Art Recipe August 2019 Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends,  I've created a Mixed Media Tag for Finnabair's Art Recipe August 2019 Challenge!  The colors are so dreamy and fairytale which is one of my favorites!

I prepped my tag with Finnabair's Heavy White Gesso and
used Finnabair's Golden Nugget Effect Paste and a stencil for my background texture.  Once that was dry I used Finnabair's Azure Impasto Alchemy Acrylic paint and Wild Raspberry Color Bloom Spray.

I added Finnabair's Alchemy Sparks Unicorn Hair, Azure and Wild Raspberry to the stars I created using Finnabairs Moulds.

I also did some heat embossing to Reneabouquets beautiful board and on the Wing from Finnabair's moulds.

I added some fiber,  a crocheted doily for the sand color.

Then I added Prima Marketing Flowers,  microbeads,  sequins for layers.  I had some diecuts in my stash that I used for more layering.

In my stash I had some Tim Holtz transparent wings,  I stacked them on the Fairy chipboard from Reneabouquets then I searched in my metal embellishment stash for the perfect piece and it was Finnabair's metal screw on embellishment.

I wanted to add more interest so I used Finnabair's Art Ingredients Art Pebbles and painted on the back with some glitter and also Alchemy Sparks Unicorn Hair,  I love how they turned out!

I found "Just Believe" in my sticker stash which completed my theme!
I am always inspired by Finnabair's DT and love anything Finnabair/Prima products!
This challenge is always so much fun!  Thank you Finnabair!
Happy Creating!!!

Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge Believe in Magic

Hi Crafty Friends I'm here to share my entry for Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge!  Have you seen the Art Recipe?  This was a challenge for me with colors.  When I think of shades of purple I can see a Fairy theme which is one of my favorite!

I used a Prima Resin Icon wooden box for my base painted it with Prima Black Gesso then used Prima stencil with Graphite texture paste,  once it was dry I used Finnabair Opal Magic Wax "Royal Robos,  I loved how that turned out!

Then I grabbed my Prima jar from years ago and glued on some trim added Clear Gesso then added Prima Art Alchemy Violet Liquid Acrylic paint along with a hint of Color Bloom Spray and Art Alchmey Opal Magic Rose Gold Acrylic Paint.  Once it was dry I added some Gold Glitter,  some twine and a leaf diecut to the top and also added a Prima Metal embellishment to the top of the cover.

For the tin box I added 2 coats of PRima Heavy White Gesso then added some Finnabair Stone Effects for texture once that was dry I added more Art Alchemy Violet Liquid Acrylic Paint plus Opal Magic Rose Gold Acrylic paint and a touch of color bloom spray.

I used Finnabair's Rust Effect Paste Gold Rust for the flowers,  Bee and for the light bulb then added some Gold Glitter!
I used a bunch of ReneaBouquets for this project!

From my stash I added some Finnabair Art Ingredients Licorice Glass Beads and some Microbeads.

I also used Finnabair's Art Alchemy Metallique Frozen Berries throughout my project.

This was a super fun project to create!  If you haven't checked out the challenge at Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge head on over right now to see the DT's inspiration!

My first Finnabair Art Recipe Entry for April 2019

Hi Crafty Friends!  I'm here today to share my first entry for Finnabair's Art Recipe April 2019 Challenge,  the colors for the challenge is so Gorgeous!  I grabbed a canvas and started creating!

I started with a Prima Stencil for the background with a mix of White Sand texture paste,  glitter and acrylic paint.  Then I added some Emerald Liquid Acrylic paint in various places on the canvas,  once that was dry I added some Cobalt Color Bloom Spray mixed in with the Emerald Liquid Acrylic paint.  While the paint was drying I used my butterfly wings die cut and added some Prima Glitter in blue and green.

I grabbed some embellishments from my stash and started creating my design.  I used Old Silver Metallique Wax to my canvas,  Prima Gears and also to the word Sparkle.

For the Prima Marketing Frank Garcia Memory Hardware frame I sprayed it with some Cobalt Color Bloom Spray and then rubbed some Old Silver Metallique wax to the frame.
I also added some microbeads,  art stones, say it with crystals,  sequins and glitter for interest.
I used Reneabouquets beautiful board and butterflies to complete my design.

For my last touch I flicked some White Gesso mixed with some Alchemy White Pearl Acrylic paint.
I'm always so inspired by Finnabair's DT and I can't wait to see what they each create next!
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Creating!
