Scrapbook Layout Fan of the Month for Blue Fern Studios

Hello Blue Fern Studios Fans!  Phyllis here to share my last layout for Fan of the Month. I created a layout using the Amber & Apricot collection.  So Gorgeous!  I love colors of fall.

First off I started with Amber & Apricot's Joyful paper and cut off the edges then did some distressing.  I added Amber & Apricot's Faded Blooms paper for my backing.  I love how the brownish tan and beautiful design looks behind Joyful paper.  I also distressed the edges.   I used Birdsong and tore around the birds and a portion of the paper for my design.  Then I used the other side of Birdsong for some contrast and tore some more paper.

I added texture paste through a stencil, and then added Blue Fern Studios Blood Orange embossing powder.  It was exactly what I was hoping for, just enough glitter and color.  I also used the Blue Fern Studios Crackle & Grunge Grid Stamps for more texture.

r layering I added Blue Fern Studios flowers and chipboard - Apricot Blooms, Wanderlust Lilies, Fern Leaves, Manchester Frame and Roman Clock chipboard pieces.  I added Blue Fern Studios embossing powders Avocado and Chili powder to the Manchester Frame, and then added some Blood Orange to it.  For the Roman Clock I used Blue Fern Studios Chili Powder.  I painted the Fern Leaves chipboard pieces with gold acrylic paint.  For the last part of creating my layout I added some Blue Fern Studios Twig & Mustard Seedlings.  For the title I used the Amber & Apricot Sticker Chipboard piece,  How Sweet it is to be Loved by you.

Scrapbook Layout for Blue Fern Studios Fan of the Month Using Wanderlust

Hey Blue Fern Studios Fans Phyllis here to share another layout using papers from the Wanderlust collection!  I'm a huge fan of shades of blues,  it reminds me of the water at a beach!

I started stamping with Blue Fern Studios Arcadia Textures stamp and Crackle Textures stamp.  After stamping I did some stenciling using White Crackle Texture paste and molding paste.  For the burlap texture I added some of Blue Fern Studios Embossing powders for hints of color.  Then with my other stencil I only added the White Crackle Texture paste,  it gives it just enough texture to my background.

I also used Blue Fern Studios Corner Flourishs chipboard to my layout,  I heat embossed Blue Fern Studios embossing powder and then dry brushed Gesso to soften the colors so they blend in a little bit.

I did some diecutting with the Wanderlust papers for more texture.  I added Wanderlust Lillies flowers and a few flowers from the Apricot Blooms flowers.  The "Journey" chipboard sticker from Wanderlust collection went perfect with this layout!

For more texture (because I can never have enough) I added beads,  art stones and Blue Fern Studios seedlings and embossing powder glitter.  I gathered some embellishments from my stash to complete this layout!

This layout was fun to create using lots of Blue Fern Studios items!  The paper is Amazing,  I still have a hard time cutting into it though!

Thank you for stopping by Blue Fern Studios today,  I hope I've inspired you to create something beautiful day!

Happy Creating!

Another Layout for Blue Fern Studios Fan of the Month for September

Hey Crafty friends,  Phyllis here to share another layout using Blue Fern Studios products.
The Correspondence paper from the Sanctuary collection is a gorgeous patterned paper with hues of
brown and gray. I wanted to make sure that the pattern and color would show through,
so everything else for this layout had to be light in color.

Once I figured out my design I started placing my flowers and diecuts

Then I used Blue Fern Studios Tattered Diamond Bits Chipboard and heat embossed the bits.
I added some cheesecloth, beads, and glitter to give alittle more interest.
Once I adhered everything down I got my acrylic paint out and did some flicking with the paint.

I used a paper punch to cut out some flowers using my Blue Fern Scraps.
I also used scraps to die cut and used them to create texture and my background.

Supplies:
Sanctuary Collection ~ Correspondence
Serendipity Collection ~ Imagination & Inspiration
Tattered Diamond Bits Chipboard
Breeze, Chili Powder and Fern Embossing Powders

I hope I've inspired you to create something beautiful today,  Blue Fern Studios has Amazing products to create with!

Wow I can finally share some exciting news!  I've been holding on for a bit to share that I'm Blue Fern Studios Fan of the Month for September!  I've always been a Huge Fan of their paper!  I finally had a chance to use their embossing powder,  wow I had no idea how awesome their embossing powders are,  so fun to create with!
I couldn't wait to start creating for Blue Fern Studios Fan of the Month!

I used Blue Fern Studios Chesterville paper for this layout!  I used the paper with my metal diecut and also used a paper punch to cut out some flowers!

I wanted to keep this layout simple so the Amazing design on the paper showed thru.  So I used some Texture paste thru a stencil for the background then I added some Blu Fern Studios Embossing powder to the texture paste,  I love that touch of color from the embossing powder!

On all of the Blue Fern Studios chipboard pieces I did layers of embossing powder and love how it turned out!  LOVE my layers no matter what it is!!!

I love Blue Fern Studios Glitter Embossing Powders,  they add so much to any project!

So here is a close up of my paper flowers created from a paper punch.  I layered them and then added some buttons!  Here is a close up of the embossing powder for the background.  I also added some Blue Fern Studios Glitter Embossing powder to the texture of beads and art stones.

I have a few sheets of Chesterville paper from Blue Fern Studios,  I might have to get it out again and create another layout!  Love Blue Fern Studios High Quality and Amazing design papers!

Hey Crafty Friends!  I'm here to finally share another DT Project for ReneaBouquets using the new Beautiful Board Everyday Elegance Frame.  I created a Gorgeous Dress Form with ReneaBouquets Lace.
I started out with some of Prima's White Crackle Texture Paste and then sprayed some ink on for my background.  I also added some acrylic paint for some shine.

I left Everyday Elegance Frame with it's natural color and I think it was perfect!  I started adding my embellishments and love how it turned out!

I've had ReneaBouquets Shabby Pink Rose Glass Wing Butterflies in my stash for awhile and I knew one day I'd have the perfect project for them!  They matched perfectly for this project!

I added some beads,  glitter and shard glitter glass for more interest!

Here you can really see the Crackle and check out that Glass Wing Butterfly,  AMAZING!!!
