*Little Moments* Mixed Media Canvas Entry for More Than Words Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends how are you all doing?  Hope all is well and you're getting your crafting on!  I finally had a chance to join More Than Words Challenge,  it's been awhile since I've entered!
I've had a canvas sitting in my unfinished pile so I thought I would grab one of the canvases that I started months ago and got busy creating!  I started grabbing my pink flowers and embellishments I wanted to use on the canvas.  When I created this canvas I was thinking of how I say Goodbye to some of my projects,  even though I'd like to keep them all it is impossible.  When someone buys my project I detach myself from it even though it might be a favorite of mine and let it go.  Saying Goodbye or letting go is sometimes a challenge but in Life we must learn to say Goodbye and let go!
You can see all the details below!

This Challenge at More Than Words was so fun I hope you get a chance to join the challenge!

*Be in the Moment* Mixed Media Altered Bird Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends I'm here to share my latest Mixed Media project for Finnabair Art Recipe Challenge for July  Have you seen the moodboard,  the colors are Gorgeous!
I altered a bird form,  I've had this in my stash for a long time and finally I was inspired to use it with the moodboard colors.

I used Finnabair's Flutter tissue for my backround,  lightly brushed White Gesso and then did some stamping with Finnabair's Dare to Dream.  After I painted the chipboard with Finnabair's Pink Impasto paint I heat embossed using Finnabair's Dare to Dream.
I used Finnabair's Art Ingredients Grass microbeads on the tail and also in the little glass bottle.
For the edging of the bird I used Finnabair's Art Alchemy Patina Green Matt wax.

I had so much fun creating this project,  the colors are really Gorgeous and the products I used helped me with this project.

Be sure to check out the inspiration for this challenge!

DT Project for 49 and Market using Serendipitous collection

Hi Crafty Friends I'm here with a Magical layout using the new mini collection "Serendipitous",  this is one of my favorite collections!  I used the back of "Rain Storm" for my background and used a bunch of flowers!
I started out with texture paste,  glitter paste and a stencil to create some background texture,  then I used "Bohemian Mask" with a white ink pad and Gabi's Hibiscus with a gold ink pad.  I added some cheesecloth and trim from my stash to create my design.  Then I used die cutouts from "Serendipitous" lasercut sheet for adding my layers along with the layered embellishment sheet,  these added dimension and interest!

For the flower embellishments I added "Wildflowers" Punch and "Stargazers" Sky Blue,  these were a perfect match for my layout!  One last embellishment was Dusty Attic's the "Great Outdoors" collection!

My finishing touches was to sprinkle acrylic paint,  seed beads, sequins and microbeads to complete my layout.  As always thank you for stopping by!  Be sure to keep your eye out for all the talented design team's new projects using 49 and Market!

Entry for Finnabair's Art Recipe July 2019 Challenge

 Colours of July Art Recipe:
pink, mint, yellow green

Products:
Art Alchemy: Sparks
Art Alchemy: Metallique Paints
Art Ingredients: Glass Beads
Art Basics: 3D Gel (matte or gloss)
Hey Crafty Friends I'm here to share my project entry for Finnabair's Art Recipe July Challenge,  have you seen the inspiration???  So inspiring!  This really was a great challenge for me and I need this to help me get out of my little box!  I've never used this color combo before.

I used a 9x12 canvas,  I began using stencils,  3D Gloss Gel with Mini Art Stones and White Sand Texture Paste from Art Ingredients Finnabair products to create my background!  Once the texture paste was dry I used Sorbet Color Bloom Spray Mist from Prima in random spots and then added Art Alchemy Impasto Mint Acrylic paint and my last color I added Lime Color Bloom Spray Mist from Prima.  I let it dry and then got my Prima Stamps out to add more depth to my background.  I also added Art Alchemy Sparks Unicorn's Hair for alittle shine to the background.

I went thru my stash and got some crocheted doilies,  Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Lasercut Chipboard,  fabric and paper flowers,  Prima Metal Embellishments,  Metal embellishments and some Art Ingredients Melange Art Pebbles and also made some Wings from Finnabair's mould.
I laid out my design with the doilies,  chipboard pieces and metal embellishments plus some alphabet stickers I've had in my stash for years.  Glued everything down and then started adding detail with some of the Impasto(Mint),  Art Alchemy Opal Magic(Pink-Blue),  Art Alchemy Acrylic paint(Pure Sunshine) and Art Alchemy Sparks(Unicorn's Hair.

Once all the painting detail was finished I started adding some Art Ingredients Glass Beads(Licorice) and some Pink beads from my stash,  and then I added some Gold microbeads.  To adhere the beads and microbeads I used Art Basics 3D Glossy Gel.

Pure Sunshine Art Alchemy Acrylic paint was added to the back of the Art Pebbles,  I love how it pops with that bright yellow!

I just love adding any Finnabair texture paste to my projects,  there are so many possibilities with them!

I did forget to mention I also used Art Extra Vagance White Crackle Texture Paste and I just love the texture it gives my projects!

I also added some White Crackle Texture Paste to the Wings and then painted with Art Alchemy Sparks(Fairy Wings) and Art Alchemy Opal Magic(Pink-Blue) plus Gold microbeads!

I hope you get a chance to join in on the challenge,  it truly is alot of fun and challenging!  Go check out the DT inspiration!
