My Entry for Lindy's Stamp Gang's July Color Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends!  I'm back to share my entry for Lindy's Stamp Gang July Color Challenge.
I finally had a chance to get my Lindy's sprays and embossing powders out and play!

This color challenge really was challenging for me but I LOVE it!  I sat at my desk and tried tags,  didn't work out!  Sat back down after a couple hours and tried a layout,  that didn't work out.  So I tried again and this is what I wanted it to be sorta,  you know how you have something in your mind but it hardly ever turns out like you imagine it!
Check out the close ups!  These weren't my favorite color combos but I really love how it turned out!

I stamped some butterflies and sprays them with Lindy's!

I did some stenciling with Gesso and then added some Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder then heat set it.

Here is a better close up of the heat embossing powder!

I clustered a vellum butterfly,  stamped butterfly sprayed with Lindy's sprays and then used one of ReneaBouquets handcrafted butterflies.

I used lots of beads,  glitter and shard glitter glass for more interest and texture!

I hope you get a chance to join the challenge!

Hi Crafty Friends Phyllis here today to share a Mixed Media Canvas.  I created on an 8x10 canvas using sprays,  bead trim,  shells(from the beach in Mexico),  straws,  Prima Flowers,  Prima White Crackle, Prima color bloom spray,   Blue Fern Studios chipboard pieces,  crocheted doilies,  say it with crystals,  ReneaBouquets metal key,  ReneaBouquets Butterflies,  cheesecloth,  glitter,  shard glitter glass and stencil.  I have a youtube process video you can view too!

My Entry for Make it with Prima July Color Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends!  I'm here to share my entry for Make it Prima July Challenge!  Have you seen the MoodBoard???  When I first looked at it I wasn't sure what to do with the colors,  I didn't want to overthink it so I went to my desk and started with my 12x12 canvas,  stencils,  Prima's White Crackle,  Prima's White Sand,   crocheted Doily,  thread and some fibers.
So here is my take on the color challenge!
So once I did my stenciling and added fibers,  cheesecloth,  doilies and trim I gave them a generous amount of Finnabair's Heavy Gesso,   once that was completely dry I started spraying and that part is scary and fun at the same time!

I picked thru my stash that might go with the moodboard and started placing embellishments and flowers.

I am a texture freak,  MORE is better!!!  LOL

I found some Prima wooden gears from a destash and LOVE them!  I also had some Prima Resin embellishments that have been in my stash for a long time,  so I figured now is a good time to use them!

So that's it!  Hope you get a chance to join the fun at Make it with Prima Color Challenge!

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Creating!!!

 Lots of texture!!!
