*Little Moments* Mixed Media Canvas Entry for More Than Words Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends how are you all doing?  Hope all is well and you're getting your crafting on!  I finally had a chance to join More Than Words Challenge,  it's been awhile since I've entered!
I've had a canvas sitting in my unfinished pile so I thought I would grab one of the canvases that I started months ago and got busy creating!  I started grabbing my pink flowers and embellishments I wanted to use on the canvas.  When I created this canvas I was thinking of how I say Goodbye to some of my projects,  even though I'd like to keep them all it is impossible.  When someone buys my project I detach myself from it even though it might be a favorite of mine and let it go.  Saying Goodbye or letting go is sometimes a challenge but in Life we must learn to say Goodbye and let go!
You can see all the details below!

This Challenge at More Than Words was so fun I hope you get a chance to join the challenge!

*Be in the Moment* Mixed Media Altered Bird Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends I'm here to share my latest Mixed Media project for Finnabair Art Recipe Challenge for July  Have you seen the moodboard,  the colors are Gorgeous!
I altered a bird form,  I've had this in my stash for a long time and finally I was inspired to use it with the moodboard colors.

I used Finnabair's Flutter tissue for my backround,  lightly brushed White Gesso and then did some stamping with Finnabair's Dare to Dream.  After I painted the chipboard with Finnabair's Pink Impasto paint I heat embossed using Finnabair's Dare to Dream.
I used Finnabair's Art Ingredients Grass microbeads on the tail and also in the little glass bottle.
For the edging of the bird I used Finnabair's Art Alchemy Patina Green Matt wax.

I had so much fun creating this project,  the colors are really Gorgeous and the products I used helped me with this project.

Be sure to check out the inspiration for this challenge!

Be Brave Mixed Media Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe June Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends!  I have joined the monthly challenge at Finnabair's Art Recipe June Challenge!  The colors were definitely a challenge and that's why I love this challenge!  I created a Mixed Media piece *Be Brave* using lots of Finnabair products!
I used Unicorn Effect Paste thru a stencil for my background texture,  once it was dry I sprayed Color Bloom 2 Fairy Pond and I also added Art Alchemy Metallique Acrylic Paint Deep Waters.  I also added Art Alchemy Carmine Liquid Acrylic Paint (this was the closest color to Red that I had in my stash) and I sprayed water to spread the paint,  it blended with the Deep Waters and I love how it turned out.

For the Cream I painted Art Extra Vagance Texture Fantasy Cream to a metal flower,  after glueing tissue paper to the wings I also painted them with the Texture Fantasy Cream Paste and my last Cream I added some Tulle Trim behind the Steampunk Cameo chipboard piece.

I used Art Alchemy Wax Mystic Turquoise to the Metal embellishments and Opal Magic Wax Green Brocade for a finishing touch to the metal embellishments.

I always love adding more texture so I get my beads and microbeads out to finish my project!  I hope you are inspired to try these colors it is so fun!
