Finnabair Art Recipe June 2019 Entry

Hey Crafty Friends!  Have you seen the Finnabair's Art Recipe June 2019 Challenge?  I love these colors!

I looked thru my Prima packaging stash and I picked up a chipboard sticker package with the negative spaces so I decided to use it to start this project!  I used Art Basics Modeling Opaque Matte Paste and mixed it with Art Ingredients Mini Art Stones,  then used a stencil to create some background texture.  While it was drying I got my clear crackle out and covered some images in metal frames.  Once the paint was dry on the board I added some White Crackle Texture Paste for more texture.

Next I got my Worn Leather Color Bloom Spray and sprayed the entire bakground,  I dried it with my heat tool then added some Art Alchemy Deep Waters Acrylic Paint and Golden Moss all over.  I had some Cogs and Wings and Stars & Moons Moulds pieces for this project,  I coated them with Heavy White Gesso and then added some paint.

I started placing my embellishments around the board and then added some microbeads and seedbeads.  Then I added some little spots of Rust Effects and also some Art Alchemy Mediterranean Impasto paint.

I found the perfect Butterfly from Reneabouquets and placed on the bottom of biggest frame.

In my stash I had some Say it with Crystals that was perfect for this project!

I placed one of the images in the negative space and it was perfect for the space.  I used one of Reneabouquets Metal Trinket Spoons and placed it sideaways below the picture.

Another fun embellishment was from Art Ingredients Melange Art Pebbles,  I added some stickers from 7 Dots Studio behind the Art Pebble,  I love how it turned out after adding paints,  Microbeads and Rust Effects to it.

My last step was adding some Brown Rust from the Rust Effects paint set.

This Challenge was so much fun!  Thank you for stopping by!
Happy Creating!

DT Project for 49 and Market Cherish

Hi Crafty friends,
I'm here to share my latest 12x12 canvas using Vintage Remnants Laser cut shapes No. 01 and No.02 and I also used Dandelion Laser cut sheet.  I started my canvas with a stencil and white crackle paste then I used some orange,  brown and a touch of yellow spray.  Once that was dry I used Pascale's Form Stamp and also used Gabi's Texture Stamp with some embossing powder.

I kept Dusty Attic's Archival chipboard negative pieces and placed them on the top right and bottom left for texture.  The Stargazer "Peach Sorbet",  Vintage Shades Potpourri "Yellow" and Blossom Blends "Linen" were perfect colors to begin my design.  I used Vintage Remnants Laser Cut Shapes from No. 01 and No. 02 for some background layers,  I loved the bird from the Dandelion Laser Cut Sheet.  I also used a little bit of the 5 Ply Jute Cording and Burlap Net Ribbon.

I love to finish my projects off with some Art Stones and Beads to add more interest.  Thank you for stopping by today,  I hope I've inspired you to get your crafting on with 49 and Market products!  Be sure to check out upcoming projects from the talented design team!

Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge Believe in Magic

Hi Crafty Friends I'm here to share my entry for Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge!  Have you seen the Art Recipe?  This was a challenge for me with colors.  When I think of shades of purple I can see a Fairy theme which is one of my favorite!

I used a Prima Resin Icon wooden box for my base painted it with Prima Black Gesso then used Prima stencil with Graphite texture paste,  once it was dry I used Finnabair Opal Magic Wax "Royal Robos,  I loved how that turned out!

Then I grabbed my Prima jar from years ago and glued on some trim added Clear Gesso then added Prima Art Alchemy Violet Liquid Acrylic paint along with a hint of Color Bloom Spray and Art Alchmey Opal Magic Rose Gold Acrylic Paint.  Once it was dry I added some Gold Glitter,  some twine and a leaf diecut to the top and also added a Prima Metal embellishment to the top of the cover.

For the tin box I added 2 coats of PRima Heavy White Gesso then added some Finnabair Stone Effects for texture once that was dry I added more Art Alchemy Violet Liquid Acrylic Paint plus Opal Magic Rose Gold Acrylic paint and a touch of color bloom spray.

I used Finnabair's Rust Effect Paste Gold Rust for the flowers,  Bee and for the light bulb then added some Gold Glitter!
I used a bunch of ReneaBouquets for this project!

From my stash I added some Finnabair Art Ingredients Licorice Glass Beads and some Microbeads.

I also used Finnabair's Art Alchemy Metallique Frozen Berries throughout my project.

This was a super fun project to create!  If you haven't checked out the challenge at Finnabair Art Recipe May 2019 Challenge head on over right now to see the DT's inspiration!
