Mixed Media Canvas *Courage*

Hey Crafty Friends!  Hope all is well with you and getting some crafting time in!
I joined the challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang April 2020.
Did you see the colors and inspiration?  Gorgeous colors!

I decided to use a rectangle canvas!  I started with some Plaster Paste and White Crackle Texture past for the background.  Then I added sprays,  magical shaker and embossing powder.

I also added embossing powder to the chipboard pieces,  I always love mixing Lindy's Embossing powders they are amazing!

Here is a close up of how I mixed the embossing powders.

You can see a hint of pink and that's where I added embossing powder,  it gave it a frosted look.

I added lots of embellishments to add more dimension and also love to add beads,  sequins and microbeads for more interest.

I hope you get a chance to join the fun at Lindy's Stamp Gang!

Lindy's Stamp Gang March 2020 Challenge Entry By the Sea

 Lindy's Stamp Gang
Hey Crafty Friends,  Have you seen the new March challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang?  Go check it out!  I had to create something beachy!

I recycled a plastic cover from the Swiffer Mop pad package!  First I painted a coat of Clear Gesso then used White Crackle texture paste thru a new stencil from Finnabair and added art stones for added texture.  Then I sprayed Lindy's Starburst Azure Sea Asters spray,  Lindy's Starburst California Poppy Gold Spray and Lindy's Starburst Ponderosa Pines Olive Spray for the background.

For the "By the Sea" chipboard from Scrapaholics I heat embossed Lindy's Chalk it up Chunky Embossing Powder then I added Lindy's Carefree Verdigris Chunky Embossing Powder then I painted half of it with some acrylic paint.  For more texture I added Reneabouquets Gold Microbeads to the stars.

I also heat embossed Lindy's Chalk it up Chunky Embossing Powder and Lindy's Carefree Verdigris Chunky Embossing Powder on the Mermaid Chipboard and then added sequins to the Mermaid.

For the Turtle I heat embossed Lindy's Tin Roof Rusted Chunky Embossing Powder.

I wanted to add color and texture to the seaweed so I added Lindy's Tin Roof Rusted Chunky Embossing Powder,  Lindy's Chalk it up Chunky Embossing Powder and Lindy's Carefree Verdigris Chunky Embossing Powder in layers,  I love how it turned out!

Make sure you go and check out Lindy's Stamp Gang March Challenge,  so much inspiration and so fun to join the challenge!

My Entry for Lindy's Stamp Gang's July Color Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends!  I'm back to share my entry for Lindy's Stamp Gang July Color Challenge.
I finally had a chance to get my Lindy's sprays and embossing powders out and play!

This color challenge really was challenging for me but I LOVE it!  I sat at my desk and tried tags,  didn't work out!  Sat back down after a couple hours and tried a layout,  that didn't work out.  So I tried again and this is what I wanted it to be sorta,  you know how you have something in your mind but it hardly ever turns out like you imagine it!
Check out the close ups!  These weren't my favorite color combos but I really love how it turned out!

I stamped some butterflies and sprays them with Lindy's!

I did some stenciling with Gesso and then added some Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder then heat set it.

Here is a better close up of the heat embossing powder!

I clustered a vellum butterfly,  stamped butterfly sprayed with Lindy's sprays and then used one of ReneaBouquets handcrafted butterflies.

I used lots of beads,  glitter and shard glitter glass for more interest and texture!

I hope you get a chance to join the challenge!
