Mixed Media Design Team Project for Reneabouquets using Blue Fern Studios Chesterville Collection

I finally had a chance to record a process video for my Design Team Project for ReneaBouquets using Blue Fern Studios Chesterville Collection.  You can view my process video at the end of my post!

For my scrapbook layout I decided ReneaBouquets Into the Mystic butterflies were perfect for my project.

Mixed Media oversized Tag using Teals

Hey Crafty Friends I'm here to share my latest Mixed Media oversized Tag!  I found my new FAVORITE butterfly from ReneaBouquets Into the Mystic Butterflies,  Amazing color and detail so I couldn't resist using it for this Tag!

Love me some Teals and texture,  the colors remind me of the beach colors and that's what I love!  

Lots of beads,  microbeads, glitter glass and paints it was very messy but so fun!

Renea has a great eye for detail in creating her butterflies and dragonflies,  I just LOVE them!

Fairy Foresty Design Team Project for ReneaBouquets Scrapbook Layout

My Entry for Lindy's Stamp Gang's May Color Challenge Leave a Little Sparkle Mixed Media Canvas

Have you seen Lindy's Stamp Gang's May Color Challenge?  It's another Gorgeous color challenge!  

I have been wanting to create something beachy or Mermaid themed,  so I went for it and created a Mixed Media Canvas!

I worked on this canvas all day and love how it turned out!

I even used shells from our trip to Mexico last summer!

One of my favorites from Lindy's Stamp Gang products is their embossing powders!  I love how they change color with layers!

DT Project for ReneaBouquets using Blue Fern Studios Chesterville collection

When ReneaBouquets started carrying Blue Fern Studios Chesterville Collection in her store I knew I had to get my hands on the collection!  

Below is my first project using Blue Fern Studios Chesterville collection!  The papers match Into the Mystic Butterfly set perfectly!  

This layout is full of texture and color!  I started out with stenciling one from Art Anthology (Chevron Stencil) and the other was Prima.  I used texture paste then sprinkled some embossing powders for added interest and shine.

Then the messy part begins with spraying inks!  I tried to use the colors in the Into the Mystical Butterflies.  

I started gathering embellishments from my stash and placing them top to bottom,  still not knowing how it was going to turn out. I laid down ReneaBouquets Doily Lace and loved how it looked.  I grabbed my Blue Fern Studios Laser Cut Chipboard Grid pieces and heat set embossing powder to them.  I also found a Blue Fern Studios Laser Cut Chipboard Roman Clock piece in my stash and heat embossed it with embossing powders.

I added alot of flowers to this layout using colors from the butterflies!

And once everything was in place I glued it down then started adding microbeads,  seedbeads,  art stones,  glitter and other sparkly embellishments.
