Oh So Shabby Vintage Layout with BFS Compositions

Hey Crafty Friends it's been awhile since I've posted on my blog!  

I started with craft cardstock distressed the edges with decorative scissors and Tim Holtz distressing tool and did the same with paper from the  Compositions collection.  Then I did some tearing,  I just love that look with the white edges.  I also took a few leftover paper pieces from Compositons and added it in the big gaps of where I tore the paper.

With more of my scrap pieces from Compositions I did some diecutting.  I added crocheted doilies,  twine Reneabouquets Gorgeous Butterflies,  seedbeads,  lace,  metal trinket,  BFS Glitter and wooden buttons and flowers to create my layers and interest to this layout.

This layout was so fun to create using Compostions collection, YAY I used some scraps!

Choose to Shine Mixed Media Guest Design Project for Mixed Media Place

 Hey Crafty Friends!  I am super excited to be Guest Designing for Mixed Media Place!  I am always inspired by their Amazing DT and of course I love their moodboards!  

For my project I created a mixed media wood piece.  The moodboard is so gorgeous!

I decided to use a DIY wood decor piece for my project.  I wanted to incorporate all the colors from the moodboard in my project with layers and sparkle!  I used stencils,  stamps,  Prima flowers,  moulds,  Reneabouquets,  beads,  sequins,  white gesso,  crackle paste, acrylic paints,  microbeads resing frame,  art pebbles,  waxes and embossing powder.

Remember 2 Live Your Dream Mixed Media Canvas

 Hey Crafty Friends it's been awhile since I've posted on my blog.  I finally checked out one my of favorite Challenge blogs Mixed Media Place,  they always have fun challenges check them out!  The Moodboard this month is really gorgeous and the colors remind me of a magical place!  I created a Mixed Media canvas for the challenge!

Seahorse Mixed Media Project Entry for Finnabair's Art Recipe Challenge November 2020

 Hello Friends!  I have my November Entry for Finnabair Art Recipe Challenge,  these challenges are so much fun!  I Love every product of Finnabair!  I Altered a Seahorse using lots of Finnabair!

For my background I used Finnabair stencil and White Sand Texture paste,  then I used Finnabair's Magenta Liquid Acrylic fluid.  I mixed Finnabair's Mica Powder's Silver and Blue in 3D Gel and alittle bit of Snow White Impasto paint and painted in various places.  I also added that mixture to Finnabair Wings and on the edges of the Seahorse.  

I sprinkled some Blue from Finnabair's Art Ingredients Carribean Sea Glitter Set.

I love this color combination  Deep Beetroot is so amazing,  I juice beets regularly and everytime I make it I just love the color!
